Raver’s Final Wish: “Knights of the Jaguar” Played at Funeral
Video shows coffin carried into church as iconic techno track plays
A funeral in Italy is getting attention online after a video showed a techno track being played during the ceremony.
According to posts shared with the clip, the music was chosen by the man himself before he passed away. He had asked for “Knights of the Jaguar” by DJ Rolando to be played at his funeral.
In the video, mourners carry the coffin into the church while the track plays in the background, replacing the usual silence of the moment.
Released in 1999 on Underground Resistance, the track is well known in techno and is still played today.
The video has been widely shared online, with many seeing it as a simple example of how people are choosing to include personal elements, like music, in traditional ceremonies.
