Monegros Desert Festival 2026 Announces First 80+ Artists
The 33rd edition returns to the Spanish desert on July 25 with a 22-hour program and over 120 artists planned
Monegros Desert Festival is getting ready for its next edition, returning to the Aragón desert on Saturday, July 25, 2026, for its 33rd year. The festival has announced the first wave of artists, with over 80 names already confirmed and more than 120 artists expected once the full lineup is revealed.
The initial announcement brings together artists who have shaped electronic music over the years alongside names that represent where the scene is heading today. Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, and Paco Osuna are among the first confirmed, returning to the desert to lead the festival’s well-known 22-hour continuous format.
The lineup also reflects the harder and faster sounds that have become a core part of Monegros in recent years. Artists like Klangkuenstler, Indira Paganotto, and Fatima Hajji are confirmed, alongside acts such as Fantasm, Cloudy, Kobosil, and Azyr, pointing to a strong focus on hard and industrial techno.
Beyond the lineup, Monegros continues to build its identity around large-scale stage concepts that shape the experience of the festival. One of the main highlights for 2026 is OUTWORLD, which will appear exclusively at Monegros as a 360-degree stage with a capacity of 20,000 people. Other concepts returning to the desert include 240 KM/H with its FACE 2 FACE format, Unreal with its dark, immersive staging, and the Awakenings showcase, which once again brings its sound and production approach to the festival. ARTCORE, curated by Indira Paganotto, is also set to return.
With more than 50 artists still to be announced, Monegros Desert Festival 2026 is already taking shape as one of the most extensive editions in the event’s history.
