Klangkuenstler’s OUTWORLD announced for Monegros Desert Festival 2026 in Spain
The first outdoor edition of OUTWORLD will debut in the Spanish desert with a massive 360° stage
Klangkuenstler will premiere the first outdoor edition of his OUTWORLD concept at Monegros Desert Festival 2026. The show will take place on July 25, 2026, in the desert of Fraga, Spain, as part of this year’s festival programme.
OUTWORLD will be presented in a new open air format, built specifically for the Monegros site. A custom 360° stage with a capacity of over 20,000 people is being developed for the desert environment, with production elements adapted to outdoor conditions such as heat, dust and the large open space.
Originally created for large indoor and industrial venues, OUTWORLD is Klangkuenstler’s stage and visual concept built around extended, high energy techno sets. Musically, it draws on hard techno, schranz, hardgroove and classic techno influences, combined with a strong visual identity inspired by dystopian and sci fi themes.
The Monegros version is a new production rather than a direct transfer of previous OUTWORLD shows. It will be the only outdoor edition of the concept presented worldwide in 2026 and is designed to operate throughout the festival’s 22 hour duration, incorporating changes in light and the surrounding landscape. An additional 12 artists are set to be announced soon for the OUTWORLD stage lineup.
In addition to OUTWORLD, other announced stage concepts at Monegros 2026 include FACE 2 FACE and Unreal, further expanding the range of large scale productions across the festival site.
