Heiss Festival in Buenos Aires Stopped Due to Severe Weather Conditions
Heiss Festival in Buenos Aires was stopped last night after a powerful storm forced organizers to suspend the event mid-show. The decision was made in coordination with local authorities due to “adverse weather conditions and intense electrical activity” that posed risks to the safety of the crowd, staff, and performing artists.
In their official statement, the organizers explained:
“During the course of Heiss Festival, we were obliged to immediately suspend the event, attending to adverse weather conditions and intense electrical activity that represented a risk to the safety of the public, technical staff, and artists.”
They also added that the decision came “by express request from the Buenos Aires City Government authorities” and emphasized that “the physical integrity of everyone involved constitutes an absolute priority, above any other economic or artistic interest.”
Despite the unexpected end, Heiss Festival thanked the community for their understanding and support, writing:
“The hours we shared together were beautiful and gave us all we needed to keep going. We promise to make it up to you.”
Artists also reacted to the cancellation on social media.
Nico Moreno wrote on Instagram:
“Sorry for tonight… We were very excited to play, but the police didn’t want to continue because of the storm. We tried to find a solution, but it was impossible. We love you.”
Holy Priest also shared a message for the fans, saying:
“Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone at Heiss Festival. So sorry it got cancelled due to weather issues. I really hope to see you in the future — would have loved to feel your energy and power.”
The organizers confirmed that they are currently working with artists to reschedule the event, promising to announce new details soon.
